“1+1 Ukraine to produce an adaptation of the popular Israeli series Your Honor
1+1 Ukraine TV channel is working on the adaptation of the famous Israeli series Your Honor (original title Kvodo) by the distribution company yes Studios.
In the Ukrainian version, the series has a working title “Judge”. This dramatic story tells the story of a judge who finds himself faced with a difficult moral choice as he seeks to protect his son.
The plot revolves around a judge known for his integrity and uncompromising attitude, whose life is turned upside down after his son is involved in a fatal car accident. Initially, the hero tries to act within the law, but when he learns that the victim is the son of an influential criminal mastermind, he decides to hide the crime to protect his own child. This decision is the beginning of an unpredictable chain of events. Each step taken to save the victim only deepens the crisis, jeopardizing not only the judge's career but also the lives of his family. In this struggle with his principles and fears, the hero is forced to face moral dilemmas, where every choice has irreversible consequences.
The original Israeli format of Your Honor has gained international recognition and has already been adapted in many countries, including the United States, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Turkey. The most famous is the American version starring Bryan Cranston, which aired in 2020 on Showtime. The series received critical acclaim and was nominated for prestigious awards, including the Golden Globe and BAFTA.
