"1+1" collected more than 400,000 hryvnias to help children by St. Nicholas Day
In total, this year, "1+1" managed to collect 407,870 hryvnias for St. Nicholas Day.
It is important that the COVID -19 pandemic did not stop the activities of the charity project "Make a dream come true", and dozens of dreams of seriously ill children became a reality in 2020.
Like, for example, the dream of schoolboy Svyatoslav Pishak from the village of Stopchatyv in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Three years ago, the boy was diagnosed with leukemia. The boy underwent chemotherapy and is now in remission. But in June of this year, a disaster happened in his family: the house with all things and documents burned down. Thanks to TSN TV presenter Nataliya Moseychuk, our TV viewers and the "Make a dream come true" project, we managed to complete the main works and rebuild the house, including installing walls, a roof, and windows. The house is also equipped with heating: a boiler and heating are installed.
Dreams came true during quarantine also online. In particular, the children talked to their favorite stars - showman Igor Lastochkin and actor Stanislav Boklan via video link. And for a girl who dreams of seeing Scotland, a Ukrainian artist who lives there gave an online tour.
