1+1 Media was the first Ukrainian media holding to join the international Giving Tuesday initiative. As part of the day of good deeds, on November 27, the group held a charity fair "Generous Tuesday" in the courtyard of its own head office, and after it went to the national specialized children's hospital "OKHMATDYT", where with four socially responsible companies they arranged a holiday for small patients. Proceeds from the fair amounted to almost UAH 70,000 and were donated to the realization of the dreams of children who are cared for by the " Make a Dream " project of the " You Are Not Alone " corporate charity fund.

"Today, corporate social responsibility is a must-have component of business activity. And that's why we, as media professionals, have to show the industry and the market as a whole how to do a good deed, as well as motivate people to realize the dreams of little Ukrainians," commented Oleksandr Tkachenko, CEO of 1+1 Media .

Not only employees of 1+1 media, but anyone willing could come to the Shchedryi Vytorok charity fair. During the event, a charity outlet with presenters' clothes and souvenir products, consulting services from top management, and an autograph session with the author and host of the information and analytical program "TSN" were organized for the guests. Then the group continued Shchedry Vytorok together with Astarta-Kyiv agro-industrial holding, Energoatom NAEC, EY in Ukraine, Watsons Ukraine. All of them united within the framework of corporate volunteering to join the "Make a dream come true" project and hold a holiday for children who are being treated at "OKHMATDIT". Entertainment with animators was organized for the little ones, together with which volunteers from each company helped the little ones draw their most cherished dreams on paper. And if you draw a dream, you can make it visible, which means it is more real.

"I was impressed by the synergy of state, commercial, international and Ukrainian companies that united for a good cause. It is nice that corporate volunteers dedicated their working time to children and helped them to depict their dreams on paper. These drawings will become part of the colored Ray and will fly to the stars already in 2019, and the universe will learn about them. And during this, we will be able to make a wish at the same time and all together, so that everything will come true," said Lidia Taran, curator of the "Make a dream come true" project , who was also present during the charitable Generous Tuesday at "OKHMATDIT".

We will remind you that #GenerousTuesday is an all-Ukrainian day of good deeds within the framework of the global charity movement #GivingTuesday. Every year in more than 150 countries of the world, millions of people on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving organize actions for the benefit of charitable organizations, talk about it on social networks and encourage them to do good deeds. In 2018, Ukraine officially joined the initiative, becoming one of the participating countries.
