1+1 media with the "News Museum" project in the shortlist of the European Excellence Awards 2017

For the second year in a row, 1+1 media projects have become finalists of the most prestigious European award in the field of public relations and corporate communications.

The large-scale cultural and educational project "Museum of News" has become the most popular museum event in the history of Ukraine. Its exposition consisted of 10 halls with interactive zones. The project talked about how news is created, how it affects the lives of its heroes and society as a whole, revealed the secrets of ratings, presented unique exhibits from the time of independence, and also presented 100 main news of Ukraine over the past 25 years. The News Museum showed modern history through the eyes of TSN and created a new approach for television to communicate directly with viewers.

About 100,000 people visited the TSN News Museum during the exhibition.

"This is the second year that we have reached the finals of the award, and it is a great pride for us to make projects that are admired not only in Ukraine, but also perceived at such a respectable level. The News Museum is a very important project for us, because after its implementation, colleagues from other media groups said that the only drawback of the project is that now news is associated exclusively with TSN. In other words, the task was accomplished," comments Svitlana Paveletska, PR director of 1+1 media.

"The success of the "News Museum" lies in the amazing combination of teams that worked on it. The project was created by journalists and museum curators, reporters and decorators, journalists and designers, PR specialists and historians, sociologists and show business stars, VR specialists and representatives of state institutions. It was their synergy that led to the fact that "News Museum" not only became the most popular exhibition of independent Ukraine, but also made it to the shortlists of the most prestigious world awards," comments Yaroslava Gres, managing partner of GresTodorchukPR.

The 1+1 media project will compete with Miratech, Hope for Mundial Association, KPMG Poland, The Employers of The Republic of Poland for the first place in the competition. The winners of the European Excellence Awards 2017 will be announced on November 30 at the awards ceremony in Hamburg.
