The 1+1 media group signed an agreement with the VOLYA provider to broadcast the media group's TV channels in 2019

Today, December 27, the 1+1 media group and one of the largest domestic telecommunications providers - VOLYA - concluded an agreement on the broadcasting of TV channels from the 1+1 media distribution portfolio in 2019. The signing took place on the terms of cooperation, which is mutually beneficial for the parties, and in accordance with the group's previously announced sales policy for the next year.

From January 1, 2019, the provider will broadcast 22 TV channels included in the group's distribution offer, thus qualitatively expanding and supplementing its own television packages in all the cities of its presence. Also, as part of the expansion of the partnership, under an additional agreement, the media group will grant the VOLYA company the rights to broadcast 400 hours of premium video content produced by 1+1 media on the provider's VOD platform.

"Our main goal is to collect not just the largest portfolio among Ukrainian media groups, but the highest quality in terms of content. That is why we distribute only those channels whose content has passed the test of time and millions of satisfied viewers. Thanks to carefully selected TV channels of 1+1 media distribution, providers cover not only the needs of household viewers, but also other segments - for example, the HoReCa sector. Music TV channels MTV Live HD, MTV Europe, MTV Dance, MTV Hits, MTV Rocks, VH1 Classic, VH1 European, which we distribute exclusively in Ukraine, are especially popular in it. We are pleased that the company "VOLYA", with which we have been cooperating for more than a year, supports our goal, appreciates all our TV channels and clearly understands the need of viewers for quality content. I believe that this approach will allow the provider to reach an even larger audience, because we have created a portfolio that provides subscribers with access to diverse content and covers all target audiences and age groups," commented Andrii Malchevskyi, director of the distribution and development department of the 1+1 media broadcasting network.

"We are happy about the successful conclusion of the agreements with the 1+1 media group for next year. Our long-term experience of cooperation in building a pay-TV market strategy in 2019 will give a new turn to our relations. The growing global trend of video on demand (VOD) is actively developing in the Ukrainian market as well, and we are glad that we can now offer subscribers high-quality content of the 1+1 media group in our library," commented Victoria Tsomaya, marketing director of VOLIA.

We will remind you that VOLYA provider won the "Provider of the Year according to the 1+1 TV channel" nomination of the "Landmark and Values" award, which the 1+1 media group has been holding for the second year in a row as part of the "Pluses in the Circle of Friends" meeting. The provider was one of the first to introduce the Ukrainian viewer to the premium content of the most rated TV channel of the media group - 1+1, and even today the share of TV viewing of the TV channel in the networks of this TV service provider remains one of the highest among domestic providers.
