1+1 media content will be available on UIA planes

Previously, the media group united its own video library on the Internet under the 1+1 video brand. Cooperation with UIA became a continuation of the development of the distribution of this product.

The first stage of cooperation between the media group and the airline involves the placement of 15 films and shows of 1+1 media, including feature and documentary films, as well as recordings of concerts and sports events. All the content of the group, which is placed on board the planes, is aimed at the Ukrainian-speaking audience and will be updated once every four months.

"We, as before, strive to provide Ukrainian viewers with content in the place and on the platform where it is more convenient for them to consume it. And UIA was no exception. For us, cooperation with an airline was the first project of a similar level," says Anna Tkachenko, director of the digital direction of 1+1 media.

Boeing 777 long-haul aircraft are equipped with an individual entertainment system with 9- to 16-inch monitors mounted in the backs of the seats. The first TV projects for viewing by UIA passengers will be: "Inspector. Cities", "The World Inside Out", "High-Tech Lomachenko", "Chernobyl", "The Last Muscovite".

"UAI consistently works to improve the level of service on all its flights, but we pay special attention to the development and improvement of the aviation product on long-haul routes," said Yevgenia Satska, director of communications at UIA. - We are fully aware of the need to diversify our passengers' sky leisure as much as possible. We are glad to start information cooperation with 1+1 media and, accordingly, the opportunity to offer travelers a high-quality television product of the leading media group of Ukraine."
