The CIO of 1+1 media became the IT director of the year

The Best CIO competition is held to identify the best heads of IT departments of Ukrainian companies. This time, the fight for the title of BEST CIO was organized in 10 nominations, in each of which a winner was chosen. The main evaluation criteria were the maturity of the company's IT infrastructure and the professional competencies of the applicants, which were assessed by the jury based on questionnaires and interviews.

One of Yuriy's most successful projects over the past few years has been the construction of a content delivery network (CDN) with high bandwidth, the creation of a media cloud, as well as a set of measures to increase the company's cyber security level.

"Despite the fact that the competition identified the best CIOs, I believe that this is a joint victory for me and my colleagues. Because it would be impossible to implement complex technological projects without a professional team and the support of top management, which shares views on the role of IT in the life of the company and supports our initiatives," comments Yuriy Mirei, IT director of 1+1 media.

The "1+1 Media" group notes that they are proud of the recognition of their colleagues' achievements in the professional environment and are glad that the slogan "Work that everyone can see" is reflected in victories at industry competitions.

The annual BEST CIO competition has been held by the "Computer Review" editorial office since 2008, and more than 1,000 IT directors of Ukrainian companies have participated in it over the past 10 years. The expert panel of the jury includes representatives of partner companies, market experts and winners of previous years.
