Initiative “Life After Scars” by 1+1 media has won silver at the international Brilliance Awards
On the evening of January 23, the winners of the international Brilliance Awards were announced. This prestigious award marks organizations and projects for their outstanding achievements and innovations in the business sphere.
The communication campaign “Life After Scars” by 1+1 media, which highlights the reintegration of veterans into civilian life, became an award winner. The project received a silver award in the Diversity and Inclusion category of the HR Brilliance Awards segment.
“This prestigious award is given to organizations and projects that drive progress and inspire change worldwide”, — states the official website of the Brilliance Awards.
The “Life After Scars” initiative is based on over 10 years of 1+1 media's experience in communicating with veterans and brings together various formats — from special projects on digital platforms, social advertising, and thematic partnerships with Ukrainian businesses to integrations in TV programs and segments. The initiative's goal is to support veterans on their way back to civilian life.
We remind you that the "Life After Scars" team is working on creating a digital guide for employers in collaboration with the job search platform robota.ua. Its goal is to systematize the unique experience of Ukrainian businesses which work with veterans. The online document will include practical recommendations, case studies, and strategies from employers who have successfully adapted their work processes and policies for the integration of veterans.
Companies that want to join the initiative and share their relevant experience in veteran reintegration can fill out the form via the link. The collection of cases will continue until March 1, 2025.
