The corporate charity fund of the 1+1 media group has turned one year old

The corporate charity fund of the 1+1 media group "You are not alone" , which was founded in 2017 by the decision of the supervisory board, turned one year old. Within the framework of such main directions of the foundation's activities as the development of a nation that dreams, ensuring access to education, the development of a barrier-free society and assistance to the soldiers of the ATO, their implementation was reflected in three main projects - "Make the dream come true" , "The right to education" and "Winners" .

In the spring of 2018, the foundation commissioned the first sociological study "What do Ukrainian children dream about?", in which 302 children aged 5-12 from Kyiv and 5 other largest cities of Ukraine participated. The results were stunning: only 10% of small hospital patients dream without restrictions and without barriers, 90% have practical dreams and desires, but mostly they are material. Among healthy children, the share of "dreamers" is even smaller - 5%. However, the number of material desires is half as much in children who have faced complex diseases.

The information received prompted the launch of a large-scale art marathon #МояДытячаМрия. In June 2018, the largest art wall in Ukraine was created on Pejazhnaya Alley in Kyiv, and in September, the art marathon began to walk around the country - the head of the foundation Vlasta Shovkovska together with the curators of the project - TSN host Lidia Taran and the host of "Profootball" on channel "2 +2" by Oleksandra Loboda - already visited six cities of Ukraine and collected 87,000 drawings with dreams. Also, during the year of the foundation's existence, more than 50 grandiose dreams have been realized, famous artists, presenters, athletes - Tina Karol, Dima Monatyk, Dmytro Komarov, Iryna Deryugina, Vremya i Steklo and others have joined the realization.

The plans for the next year are to continue encouraging and motivating children to dream, to believe in the power of dreams, and with the help of art therapy to help treat complex illnesses and accelerate rehabilitation and recovery. Art marathon #МояДытячаМрия will continue walking through Ukrainian cities to collect 100,000 dreams in order to bring them to life next year together with partners, socially active businesses and foundations.

"School education for children in hospitals!" ‒ this slogan is accompanied by the "Right to Education" project, which has become an unprecedented movement "from below" for changes in Ukrainian schools. The project team, led by Nataliya Moseychuk, curator and host of TSN and the "Right to Power" program, started from the place where children, due to health problems, have limited access to many things. Education is the most important of them. This project aims to make the lives of young patients full and rich even within the walls of hospitals. Yes, in September of this year together with a partner - NGO Small Heart with Art - the School of Superheroes was opened under Okhmatdyt. Also, thanks to the "Right to Education" project and with the support of the Liko-School partner, patients of the Children's Department of the National Cancer Institute can now also study according to the school curriculum. And recently, under the patronage of "Academy +", a school was opened at Children's Hospital No. 7. Three oblasts are considering the possibility of opening schools in regional children's hospitals. The foundation plans to open 33 schools in hospitals by 2022. Including in the burn center of Kyiv, where, according to statistics, up to 800 school-age children stay during the year. The "School in the Hospital" project won the Public Budget of Kyiv for 2019. He was supported by more than 1,800 Kyivans.

Back in 2016, TSN, in the person of curator and presenter Solomiya Vitvitska, and VIVA magazine initiated the "Winners" project and dedicated it to ATO veterans, volunteers and paralympians who have not lost their spirit, with the aim of their sports and psychological rehabilitation and successful integration into society life. Since 2017, the project is also under the patronage of the "You are not alone" charitable foundation. During this time, the project visited 22 cities of Ukraine and visited 20 countries abroad - a total of 400 exhibition days. Three "winners" entered higher educational institutions, eight - represented Ukraine at the Invictus Games, the Marine Corps Marathon in the USA. Nine participants created families during the project. The project continues, and next year it will amaze Ukrainians and the world with its continuation.

Also, during the year of the foundation's existence, his team, with the support of the "1+1" TV channel, held two charity telethons, during which not only the topic of charity was popularized, but also almost two million hryvnias were collected for the implementation of charity projects.

In the summer of 2018, the charity fund of the 1+1 media group "You are not alone" took first place in the nomination "Charity in the media" of the National competition "Charity Ukraine".
