FootballHub multi-platform project turns 1 year old

A year ago, the "1+1 media" group launched a new multi-platform project for social networks - FootballHub, which united all types of mass media and became one of the fastest growing football platforms in Ukraine. During the 12 months of the team's work, the total number of followers on the project pages on facebook, twitter, instagram and YouTube channel reached 136,746 subscribers and collected more than 30 million video views.

During 2017, the platform's journalists provided their audience with hot streams from the most interesting matches in Ukraine and behind the scenes, created unique content thanks to atypical columns, conducted exclusive interviews with the most influential people from the field of football and sports in general. The guests of the stories were Yevhen Konoplyanka, Artem Milevskyi, Yevhen Khacheridi, Oleg Gusev, Oleksandr Aliyev, Oleg Blokhin, Andriy Shevchenko, Oleksandr Usyk and many others.

“The first year with FootballHub was really impressive with its dynamic and different approach to football journalism. Together with the most famous football players, we conducted unique quizzes, learned about sports nutrition, participated in fitness sessions, organized cool cyber battles, discussed football glamour, held children's press conferences and participated in musical experiments. I know for sure what will happen next - our team will not lose momentum and will continue to prepare original football content for viewers", - comments Oleksandra Loboda, journalist of the FootballHub project, host of the TV channel "2+2".

The project begins its second year of work with a redesign of its own identity. The updated logo is presented in five brand colors, allowing the platform to constantly change for its digital audience.

"Only in the first year of its operation, the FootballHub project has already managed to win the favor of a huge number of football fans and become one of the top digital channels for obtaining information about football. And we will continue such positive dynamics of gaining audience loyalty. This year, our goal is to double the total number of subscribers and make the project profitable. Already in the near future, we plan to build a strategy for positioning content formats separately for each social network and, in particular, we aim to receive a silver YouTube button," comments Oleksandr Kozachenko, FootballHub project manager, head of external distribution of video content 1+1 media.
