Nataliia Solonik: FC Dynamo members and artists play football with children of Heroes

A Goal for Good charity football match was held in Kyiv, where members of FC Dynamo and Ukrainian artists played together with the wards of the Children of Heroes Foundation.

The event was initiated by Natalia Solonik, host of TET's Closer to the Stars and mentor of the Zdiysny Mriyu project from 1+1 media.

Children from different parts of Ukraine aged 8 to 12 came to play with music and sports idols. All of them have experienced the loss of one or both parents due to the war.

Together with the children of the Heroes, the artists Brykulets, Muayad, Enleo, Blockbaby and choreographer Max Leonov played football, and the co-host of Natalia Solonik's Closer to the Stars project on TET and mentor of the Zdiysny Drei Dmia project, Nikita Dobrynin, visited the spectator stand. Before the match, the Ukrainian national anthem was performed by young singer Artem Kotenko, who represented Ukraine at Junior Eurovision last year.

The appearance of FC Dynamo defender Taras Mikhavko on the pitch was particularly noteworthy, as his skills inspired the young players. ‘As a mother, I know very well that children's happiness is the most important thing in life. I wanted to give some happy moments to the children of our heroes. I am very grateful to FC Dynamo footballer Taras Mikhavko, who joined the charity match despite the bad weather. I saw how happy the children were when they played real football with him. Some of them even asked Taras to leave an autograph on their sneakers,’ said Nataliia Solonik, the initiator of the event.

Afterwards, Taras took a photo with all the young players and spectators and thanked Natalia Solonik for inviting him to join.   ‘I was also young once and dreamed of playing with Dynamo players. Today, both the children and I received pleasant impressions and unforgettable emotions. Even during this short game, I noticed that there are promising future players among them. I remembered myself at the same age, when I was running around and trying to prove myself. It's a great honour to play with the children of military and civilian people who gave their lives so that we could live and work today. I really want each of these children to have a bright future in our independent country,’ shared his impressions of the event Dynamo defender Taras Mikhavko.

After the game, the participants of the charity match received Goal for Good gold medals, special gifts from FC Dynamo and its sweet partner, Lucas. All the fans of the match also received tasty presents.

The match was organised to support children who have experienced the loss of one or both parents due to the war.
