Olena Vasilieva ends cooperation with 1+1

The contract of Elena Vasilieva, the chief producer of films and TV series of the "1+1" channel, is coming to an end in the near future. According to the agreement of the parties, in the coming months Olena will complete the work on the started projects as a producer of the channel, and in the future will continue cooperation with 1+1 as a producer of her own production.

"We are grateful to Olena for her contribution to the development of the Ukrainian serial industry. She started working with us during a transitional and very difficult period, but despite that, she was able to make products that became iconic for the entire industry. Over the next few months, Olena will complete work on projects that are already in the works. We wish Olena good luck and success in her future projects. And we can already announce that we are planning to cooperate with her newly created production company on a number of projects, the first of which will be the TV series "Remedy from Love", work on which will be started in early 2018", commented the general director of "1+1 media" on future changes Oleksandr Tkachenko.

Daryna Zhukova, who has worked at the channel since 2003 and in different years held the positions of head of the procurement department and chief editor of the channel's program service, will temporarily perform the duties of the chief producer of the "1+1" series.

The changes will take effect in January 2018.
