Popular programs of TV channel 1+1 will be broadcast on TV channel 2+2

1+1 media group is starting the next stage of implementing the strategy of strengthening the positions of its channels. Therefore, TV channel 2+2 will host premieres of journalistic investigative programs. In particular, on January 25 at 10:20 p.m., the legendary journalistic investigative project "Money" will start on 2+2.

The "Money" program was first broadcast in October 2010. In each issue, journalists reveal how the loudest fraud schemes in Ukraine work — from corruption flows to money laundering and apartment thefts. Since September 2019, the presenter of the program is Oleksandr Prepodobny.

"According to the results of audience research, we reviewed and updated the group's television business development strategy. 2020 proved that our flagship channel 1+1 should purposefully focus on big shows, serial production and news and entertainment content. And also to develop and strengthen other TV channels of the group, in particular the 2+2 channel, which is already showing powerful results," says Maksym Kryvytskyi, director of the television business of 1+1 media.

The legendary television investigation projects "Secret Materials" and "Dubinisms", which were previously broadcast on channel 1+1, will also be broadcast on channel 2+2. Fans of another popular program — "Ukrainian Sensations" — will be able, as before, to watch it on the air of the 1+1 TV channel.

The production of the above-mentioned programs for 2+2 will, as before, be carried out in full by the department of journalistic projects of 1+1 media headed by Maksym Shilenko.

The transition of part of the content from 1+1 to 2+2 will be accompanied by a large-scale cross-media promotion campaign on both channels of the 1+1 media group.

We will remind that during the first week of 2021, the 2+2 channel confidently occupies the sixth position among the TOP-6 national TV channels of Ukraine, ahead of the Inter TV channel. The share of TV viewing of the channel in the period from January 4 to 10 by the audience 18-54 (50+) was 4.8%, which is the best result of the channel in the last six months, and allowed the broadcaster to occupy and hold during the week the 6th position among the nationwide TV channels of Ukraine.
