1+1 Media Projects Make it to the Finals of Two Renowned International Awards

In November, 1+1 Media projects received five nominations at major international awards. The projects advanced to the European Excellence Awards and the International Brilliance Awards finals.

The shortlist of the prestigious European Excellence Awards, recognizing creativity in PR and communications, included two 1+1 Media projects. The project "Life After Scars", focusing on the reintegration of veterans, was nominated in the Internal Communications category. Meanwhile, "Children's Dreams Grove", aimed at honoring the memory of children whose lives were cut short by war, was shortlisted in the Corporate Social Responsibility category. Both projects also made it to the finals in the regional Ukraine category. 1+1 Media will compete for the top spot with companies such as Mastercard, BNP Paribas Bank Polska, and others.

The relevance and significance of the "Life After Scars" project were also acknowledged by another prestigious award, the International Brilliance Awards, a global competition for leading companies. The project was shortlisted in the Diversity and Inclusion (HR Brilliance) category, where it will contend for victory alongside projects from companies like BT Group and NEST (National Employment Savings Trust), among others.

"Amid the full-scale war, Ukrainian businesses are generating numerous projects that address pressing social issues. The creativity, approaches, and objectives these teams pursue are truly outstanding. This is being recognized internationally, with our experience and knowledge becoming unique. Of course, we wish these projects never had to exist, as they all, in one way or another, are tied to the war… But the reality is different. We are proud to see many Ukrainian companies on the shortlist of international awards alongside 1+1 Media. We sincerely root for everyone and, I am sure, share the dream of one ultimate victory — the most important one for all of us," commented Yana Lyakhovych, Head of Corporate Communications at 1+1 Media.

Additionally, the Rose d’Or Award, which sets the gold standard for quality and achievement in international television and audio programs, featured "The Voice of Ukraine 13" as a finalist. This major music television project, filmed in Poland in collaboration with Telewizja Polska (TVP), competed with entries from over 40 countries and was nominated in the Competition Reality category.

The winners of the awards will be announced between December 2024 and January 2025.
