The projects "Ukrainian Palaces. The Golden Age", "Volunteers", "Friends": - nominees for the VIII National Film Award "Golden Dzyga"
This year, the long list includes 10 feature films, 12 feature documentaries, 14 short films, 4 animated films and 10 TV series.
Thus, the list includes three projects that were broadcast on 1+1 media channels. These include the second season of the documentary series Ukrainian Palaces. The Golden Age" on 2+2 about the life and work of the owners of Ukrainian palaces that were partially destroyed in the twentieth century. The project was created by the team of Akim Galimov, producer, author and host of the Real History project, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project's chief scriptwriter: Ruslan Sharipov. Director: Daria Sarycheva. Producers: Stanislav Zurakhov, Anna Shmulyar, Yulian Akulov.
The comedy series Volunteers by Drive Production is also among the fifty nominees. It premiered on TET TV channel in November 2023 and was produced and directed by Naum Barulia and Andriy Burlaka. Nine other films are in the running for the Golden Jig in the series category along with Volunteers.
Among them is the four-episode action-packed series Friends about a true male friendship that can withstand any obstacles and that even war cannot break.
