The series "Shitt's Creek" will be shown for the first time in Ukraine on Paramount Comedy

On Monday, May 31, Paramount Comedy will host the high-profile premiere of the first season of the television sitcom "Shit's Creek." New series will be waiting for viewers every evening from Monday to Thursday at 23:05.

"Shitt's Creek" tells the story of a family of former rich people who suddenly find themselves without money. The Rose family is a billionaire father, Johnny, who made a fortune from a chain of video stores, his wife Moira, a melodramatic actress, and two children, hipster David and young socialite Alexis. No one could predict, but Johnny's business collapses and the whole family is forced to move to live in the small town of Sheets Creek, which they bought a few years ago for fun.

Despite the fact that "Shitts Creek" is a surprisingly beautiful place, the Roses have to start their lives from scratch and get used to new realities. Moira does not imagine her everyday life in the province, and her children see only the negative aspects of the move, experiencing numerous difficulties in spending leisure time and communicating with their peers. Only Johnny's father feels like a fish in water - a real hard worker will always find something to do. And now the main characters are just getting used to the new environment, occasionally remembering their beautiful life in the metropolis, new adventures await them.

An interesting fact is that the real children of Eugene Levy (Johnny Rose), who plays the main role, Dan Levy (David Rose) and Sarah Levy (Alexis Rose) were filmed in the series. And even the serial dog belongs to Eugene in real life. Perhaps this influenced the incredibly close and sincere atmosphere of the Roses' family life in "Shitts Creek".

Moreover, in 2020, the last part of "Shitt's Creek" claimed 15 Emmy awards, of which it took seven statuettes. And it was the first time in the history of the ceremony, when one project won at once in four acting nominations: the best comedy actor and actress and the best comedy actor and actress in secondary roles.
