Joint appeal of Ukrainian media groups regarding television broadcasting under martial law
Leading Ukrainian media groups 1+1 media, StarLightMedia, Media Group Ukraine and Inter Media Group report that during martial law, all their TV channels broadcast in open access on their international and unencoded versions. Also, information is duplicated on YouTube channels, online platforms, promptly updated on information sites and social networks of each of the media groups.
"Our task is to defend the information space, shed light on events as widely as possible, debunk fakes and convey the most important messages to Ukrainians as quickly as possible. And also help extinguish mass panic and give people clear instructions on how to act in a particular region at this very moment. Continuous broadcasts continue on our channels, we turned off the advertising block and talk non-stop, so that each of our viewers feels that we are near and receives prompt and truthful information, " the media groups said in a consolidated statement.
1+1 media
The flagship TV channel of the 1+1 media group - 1+1 - launched an emergency broadcast from the TSN studio practically from the beginning of receiving information about the first explosions in Ukraine, starting a live special informational marathon "Defense of Ukraine", which is continuously broadcast on the group's TV channels - 1+ 1, 2+2, TET, UNIAN TV and Bigudi. Also, the digital broadcast of the marathon is conducted through social networks (YouTube and Facebook), as well as on the partner platform of Kyivstar TV.
