A public poll for the best teacher of 2024 in the "Ukrainians' Choice" nomination has begun on the Diya.Osvita platform.
This is one of the nominations of the annual national award Global Teacher Prize Ukraine.
Ten finalists of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2024, who went through several stages of careful selection, participate in the poll. In total, 1,210 educators applied for the award this year, and another 2,059 teachers were nominated by parents, students, and colleagues.
The organizer of the award, the "Osvitoria" public union, calls on Ukrainians to participate in the survey and choose this year's winner of audience sympathy.
"The public poll is an opportunity to tell the stories of incredible teachers to as many Ukrainians as possible and to find out whose professional history and approaches to teaching are the most inspiring. And also to recognize those who contribute to the development of Ukrainian education every day", – says Zoya Lytvyn, head of the "Osvitoria" union and founder of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine.

The poll in the "Choice of Ukrainians" nomination will last from September 10 to 11:59 p.m. on October 1. The winner of the nomination will receive an educational trip. The results will be announced on October 5 during the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine ceremony. The event will be broadcast on the air of the national telethon "Edyny Novyni" and on the "Osvitoria" YouTube channel.
The award for outstanding teachers Global Teacher Prize Ukraine is organized by Osvitoria with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Diya.Osvita, KSE Foundation, Talents for Ukraine, Uklon and Sens bookstore, as well as UNICEF Ukraine, which supports the special nomination "Preschool" within the framework of the award.
