"Society in Times of Challenges": AI, New Media, and Inclusivity Discussed at ELLE ACTIVE FORUM 2025

On June 7, UNIT.City hosted the tenth ELLE ACTIVE FORUM — an annual event from ELLE Ukraine that brings together active, conscious, and caring people. In times of challenges and changes, the forum remains a space where meanings, support, and inspiration are born. The media partners of the event were 1+1 media and Kyivstar TV.

This year, the forum’s theme is “Society in Times of Challenges.” The focus is on adaptation to new realities, the role of women in building the future, mental health, inclusion, artificial intelligence, the power of personal media, and rethinking values.

Tetyana Lukyniuk, Director of Google Ukraine, opened the event with a presentation on “Technology and AI: Enemies or Allies?” The panel discussion on the topic of inclusivity in the context of war was attended by Zola Kondur - project manager of the Council of Europe, Kateryna Russa - public figure, program coordinator of the NGO "Roma Human Rights Center", Olena Shevchenko - head of the NGO Insight and Kateryna Pryymak - head of the Veteranka movement. The panel was moderated by Natalia Nagorna - military correspondent of TSN.

Lina Zhyginas - CEO of the network of private educational institutions KMSH VSESVIT and Sonya Zabuga - editor-in-chief of ELLE Ukraine talked about education without filters and modern challenges in the school environment during the panel discussion.

Another panel discussion examined the phenomenon of personal platforms as new media. Natalia Ostrovska - presenter of 1+1 Marathon and TSN, journalist joined the discussion. Mentor of the charity project "Make a Dream Come True" from 1+1 media and Taras Berezovets - head of the public relations group of the communications department of the Territorial Defense Forces Command, major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Author of the Telegram channel and YouTube channel. The moderator was Anna Davydenko - celebrity marketing manager, co-author of the podcast about PR, words and meanings "Not Recorded".

Representatives of the Ukrainian fashion sphere learned how to scale the Ukrainian fashion business in the new conditions. This panel discussion was attended by Iryna Danylevska - co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week, Natalia Hurina - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank, Kristina Bobkova - Ukrainian designer, founder of the women's clothing brand BOBKOVA, Tetyana Abramova - CEO and founder of the RITO GROUP company, brands RITO and 91LAB, Olena Fil - co-owner of the Ukrainian conceptual clothing brand Juliya Kros, candidate of psychological sciences.

All funds from ticket sales were sent to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, namely for FPV drones for the 71st Jaeger Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
