Timur Miroshnichenko and Nikita Dobrynin visit students of Superhero Schools at hospitals

On 6 December, the TV presenters became assistants to St Nicholas, personally visiting the educational centres of the Superheroes School and presenting gifts from the Olena Zelenska Foundation.

First, Timur Miroshnychenko, 1+1 Ukraine host and mentor of the Zdiysny Mriyu project, visited the Okhmatdyt hospital, where one of the branches of the state-run Superheroes School, which provides continuous primary and secondary education for children in medical institutions, operates. He visited the superheroes' library to meet Olena, a sunny girl, in person, talk to her and draw with her. Timur also attended several themed lessons, including those of the youngest children, 5-year-old Nikita and Angelina.

"I always try to do something nice and useful for children on St Nicholas Day. This year, my colleagues and I, together with the 1+1 media charity project Zdiysny Mriyu, went to the Superheroes School and congratulated the children who study there while undergoing treatment at Okhmatdyt," commented Timur Miroshnychenko, 1+1 Ukraine host.

Together with Timur Miroshnichenko, Ukrainian gymnast and Olympic champion Oleg Vernyaev and representatives of the United Movement visited the hospital and presented themed gifts to the children:

"'Superheroes School' is an extremely important initiative. While undergoing treatment and rehabilitation, the kids continue their education and acquire new knowledge. We brought the kids educational kits, educational games, books and colouring books. We support children, as they are the ones who will build a strong state in the future. Each of our children is already a real superhero. Our generation is already living in the most difficult times, many people will return with psychological and physical injuries and will not know how to live on. That is why we need to unite and help everyone who needs support. Our strength and power is in unity," said Oleg Verniaiev, Olympic champion.

Natalka Fedechko, founder and leader of the United All-Ukrainian Movement, added:

"We really wanted to do something bright and useful for St Nicholas Day. We know that the Okhmatdyt hospital has a Superheroes School for children undergoing long-term treatment. The participants of our conversation clubs collected books, postcards and colouring books, and Irina Ozimok, the author of the book "The City Has Me", donated copies of this very interesting work. We are very pleased that the moderators, together with Timur Miroshnichenko and Oleg Verniayev, congratulated these children, because they really need special warmth and care, because during the full-scale war in the country, they have their own war with the disease."

Subsequently, Nikita Dobrynin, host of the "Closer to the Stars" project on TET TV channel, took over the baton of kindness. He travelled to Boyarka, to the Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital, delivering gifts from the Foundation and the PLUSPLUS TV channel. The TV presenter also visited a lesson, joined an active game and talked to the kids.

"I was extremely impressed by one girl who is in the 9th grade. She told me about her dreams, including the desire to publish a book about her life and start her own rock band, because she also writes songs. I admire these children. Despite their circumstances, they are inspiring and all of them really, really believe in our Victory," said Nikita Dobrynin, another celebrity mentor of the Zdiysny Drei Mriyu project.

TSN correspondents visited several centres, so you can watch a special report on how it all went down in this link.

The Superheroes' School is a state institution under the patronage of Olena Zelenska, which organises and provides educational services for children aged 3 to 18 who are undergoing long-term inpatient treatment or receiving rehabilitation care in healthcare facilities, in order to ensure the continuity of their education. It has now been implemented in 11 medical institutions across the country.
