Triolan signs a license agreement for the broadcast of 1+1 media distribution TV channels

One of the largest providers of Ukraine, Triolan, was one of the first to sign a license agreement with 1+1 media for the broadcast of TV channels from the distribution portfolio of 1+1 media distribution for 2019 on mutually beneficial terms and with an acceptable for both parties cost per consumer connection. As of January 1, 2019, viewers will be able to continue enjoying watching familiar and favorite TV shows on channels 1+1, 2+2, TET, PLUSPLUS, Bigudi, UNIAN, Kvartal TV, Paramount Comedy, Spike, Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon HD, Nick. Jr., Bolt, Star Cinema and Star Family.

According to the agreement, the group's TV channels will be part of Triolan's package offers in all the cities of its presence.

"Triolan" is one of the first providers to ensure that its subscribers can continue to watch their favorite TV programs without any obstacles from the new year. I believe that such a responsible attitude to conducting business, as in Triolan, has a significant impact on the development of the pay TV market in Ukraine and the formation of a culture of legal content consumption. They not only provide their customers with quality and premium content, but also help rights holders increase their investment in the production of new original content. We are in favor of increasing the share of products of Ukrainian producers on Ukrainian television, because they perform not only an entertainment function, but also perform an important social role, offering an alternative to propagandistic Russian content," commented Ivan Primakov, head of the distribution department of 1+1 media.

"We have already established a constructive dialogue with the 1+1 media group, and therefore we see no sense in dragging out the signing of contracts until the last moment. We plan to inform subscribers in advance about the price and content of the television package for 2019. Of course, we understand that our package should differ for the better from the one that is on the digital air today, and thanks to the TV channels of the 1+1 media group, this is easily possible," commented Vadym Sydorenko, CEO of the Triolan company.
