Last year, a new branch of the state institution Superheroes School, curated and chaired by 1+1 Ukraine TV channel presenter Natalia Moseychuk, was opened at St Nicholas Hospital in Lviv.
The future educational space was featured on the morning show "Breakfast with 1+1" by Yehor Hordeiev and Nelya Shovkoplias. You can watch the live broadcast here.
Two classes have already been opened in the institution. It is expected that on the eve of St Nicholas Day, 6 December, another room will be opened in the onco-haematology department. A number of philanthropists are involved in the arrangement of a separate space for children with cancer, who are not allowed to meet other children. Among them is the construction company NK BUD.
"It is extremely important for us to support such social initiatives. Despite all the circumstances, children should receive quality knowledge and not drop out of the educational process. We call on all concerned businesses to join in and contribute to accelerating the recovery of children in particular," said Volodymyr Nemyrovsky, CEO of the company.
As a reminder, since 14 February 2023, more than 1,000 children have studied at the Superheroes School at St Nicholas Hospital in Lviv. In total, more than 4,200 lessons have been held.
As a reminder, there are currently 11 educational spaces of the Superheroes' School in Ukraine to ensure the right to education for children undergoing inpatient treatment throughout Ukraine.
