UNIAN launched a travel project

The UNIAN information agency launched a travel project called UNIAN Tourism . From now on, the readers of the news agency will be the first to learn about airline discounts, promotions from hotels and tour operators - current in Ukraine and the world.

In the new project, the UNIAN team will focus on the topic of budget travel to European countries and the near abroad, which have become easier for Ukrainians thanks to the visa-free regime with the EU.

UNIAN Tourism is dedicated to routes, news, discounts and interesting events. So, in the "Lifehacks" section, the reader will find articles useful for a traveler, and the "Photo reports" section will tell about interesting events abroad and unusual places in the format of a report.

"We were inspired by the growing number of tourists traveling from Ukraine to Europe, which has become closer to us thanks to visa-free travel - and thought about how to make Europe closer to Ukrainians not only in words. After all, in fact, traveling abroad is not too expensive today - you need to be able to plan your trip correctly and know where to look for budget options for transport and accommodation", - says General Director of UNIAN Artem Kovalev .

"Nevertheless, UNIAN Tourism will, of course, not only be about Europe. We and Ukraine have a lot to see, and the world is not limited to our continent. We hope to be useful and interesting for our readers", - adds Chief Editor of UNIAN Mykhailo Hannytskyi .

To create a new travel project, UNIAN did not increase the number of employees - the current team of the agency will work on the new project without attracting additional resources. Maryna Grigorenko, editor of the UNIAN website , will be responsible for its development.

"For us, this idea is an opportunity to express ourselves. To share with readers what we know and can do. After all, you don't need to be a millionaire to travel a lot and see the world. It's enough to just want it," says Maryna Grigorenko.

We will remind you that earlier the news agency updated the weather service Pogoda UNIAN, and also launched a chatbot for Facebook Messenger.
