The presenters of the "Breakfast with 1+1" program tried themselves in the role of popular physicists
The Ukrainian TV channel Paramount Comedy conducted a humorous experiment and invited the presenters of the "Breakfast with 1+1" program for several hours to try themselves in the role of dubbing actors, voicing the popular series "The Big Bang Theory".
The experiment is devoted to an event that the Paramount Comedy channel will present to its viewers already this fall. On the first Tuesday of September, the series "The Big Bang Theory" in Ukrainian will appear on the screens. The multimedia company "Tak Treba Productions" worked on the adaptation.
The team of the Paramount Comedy channel decided to invite the presenters in order not only to create a fan base, but also to imagine how the voices of the presenters, known to the Ukrainian audience, would sound in the popular series. The attempt turned out to be successful, and the presenters laughed to their heart's content.
"The adaptation of the series "The Big Bang Theory" is a long process. We heard dozens of voices until we selected just those. Already in the process of dubbing, the idea appeared to show the audience what would happen if the characters of the series spoke in the voices that millions of Ukrainians wake up to. In my opinion, each of the presenters could easily become a dubbing actor. The fan definitely succeeded, and by the time the series appears on the screens, the audience can hear it in voices already familiar to most," says Oksana Petryshyn, general producer of Paramount Comedy.
Ruslan Senichkin, the host of "Breakfast with 1+1", voiced two characters of "The Big Bang Theory" at once - Howard Wolowitz and his best friend Rajesh Kuthrappali, who, by the way, speaks with an accent.
Hosts of "Breakfast. Weekend" Valentyna Khamayko and Oleksandr Popov voiced Penny and Leonard Hofstadter in a rather frank scene.
Lyudmila Barbier voiced Amy Farah Fowler, a neuroscientist and lover of the main character Sheldon Cooper. And Yehor Gordeev spoke in his voice. Nelya Shovkoplias became the voice of Bernadette Rostenkovsky.
