VOD platform 1+1 video turns one year old
Today, September 7, the 1+1 video VOD platform turns one year old. The number of users of the resource during this period exceeded the mark of more than 12 million, which is equal to almost half of the users of the entire Ukrainian Internet.
The 1+1 video online service combines the content of the 1+1 media group, which includes 7 channels: 1+1, 2+2, TET, PLUSPLUS, Bigudi, UNIAN TV, 1+1 International. In addition, the resource has 5 broadcasting partners, namely: ZIK, "UA: First", "Hromadske TV", "Channel 24" and "Channel 8".
The 1+1 video player is integrated on the sites of the channels of the 1+1 media group and partners. During this time, the number of video views is 174 million.
"Since the relaunch of the VOD platform, our team has been closely monitoring user trends and behavior. We experimented a lot and implemented new initiatives, especially in the field of Data Science. There are plans to enrich the platform with data-based tools in order not only to offer the necessary content to an individual viewer in a timely manner, but also to predict his next actions. On the other hand, other initiatives turned out to be less popular. Of course, such a deep study of the viewer will increase the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and will enable advertisers to build a full-fledged communication with each individual viewer, from building knowledge to taking the desired action," says Artem Lyozin, head of 1+1 video.
The 1+1 video library includes 528 projects, the number of which increases every second. Your favorite movies, series and programs are available from any device. During this year, 53.4% of viewers accessed the resource from personal computers, 38.2% from mobile devices, and 8.4% from tablets.
The online resource has acquired more than 20,000 hours of video in HD quality, which is more than 120,000 video files that are updated every moment.
