All-Ukrainian sports event "Victory of the Unconquered"

The Ukrainian Strongman Federation invites media representatives to the All-Ukrainian sports event "Victory of the Unconquered" for war veterans, which will be held

in Ivano-Frankivsk on April 12, 2025 (from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.). For security reasons, the specific venue of the event will be announced in a personal message additionally (2 days before the event).

 

The main goal of the competition is to further strengthen the patriotic spirit in society by involving military personnel, war veterans and persons discharged from military service, service in law enforcement agencies who suffered injuries, wounds or illnesses during or as a result of performing official duties in a combat zone, in sports.

The event includes: competitions (individual) in bench press, rowing on the "Concept-2" simulator, air bike, kettlebell snatch and invastrong.

The following categories of citizens will participate in the inclusive competitions: war veterans and cadets, as well as fans. The competitions will include

The presentation and grand opening of the StrongWorkout workout area will take place as part of the competition, which is a joint initiative and implementation

of the NGO "Federation of Strongmen of Ukraine", the Bukovel tourist complex

and the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council. StrongWorkout is an almost full-fledged open-air sports hall where citizens and veterans can train as effectively as possible, because the workout complex is adaptive.

 

The guests of honor at the grand opening ceremony will be:

Matviy Bidny - Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Ruslan Martsynkiv - Ivano-Frankivsk City Mayor, Vasyl Virastyuk - Honorary President of the Strongman Federation of Ukraine, Serhiy Konyushok - President of the Strongman Federation of Ukraine.

 

About 300 veterans from 20 regions of Ukraine are expected.

Schedule:

09:00 – 11:00 – registration of participants;

10:00 – presentation and grand opening of the StrongWorkout workout area at 128 Chornovola St., Ivano-Frankivsk;

11:30 – opening ceremony, welcome remarks, National Anthem of Ukraine;

11:45 – bench press competition;

1:30 – rowing competition on a simulator;

3:00 – air bike competition;

4:30 – kettlebell snatch competition;

6:00 – award ceremony;

7:00 – dinner for the participants.

 

Nosology groups of participants:

R0 - mild injury of one arm (mild injuries of both arms) - without limitation of functionality;

R1 - amputation or severe injury of one arm (mild injuries of both arms);

R2 - amputation or severe injury of both arms, affecting the functionality of the limbs;

N0 - mild injury of one leg (mild injuries of both legs) - without limitation of movement;

N1 - amputation (below the knee) or severe injury of one leg (limitation of movement on the legs);

N1.1 - amputation (above the knee) of one leg;

N2 - amputation or severe injury of both legs (limitation of movement on the legs);

N2.2. - amputation or severe injury of both legs above the knee;

S1 - loss of vision by more than 80%;

W0 - spinal injuries that affect walking;

W1 - wheelchair athlete or spinal injury related to movement;

H1 - practically healthy athletes with minor injuries and wounds;

H2 - athletes without amputations and severe injuries, but with significant damage to internal organs.
