Request 1+1 media

On January 26, 2021, the founder of the YouTube channel Geek Journal published a statement on social networks in which he made a number of judgments and assumptions based on false information, in particular, he insisted on the version that all strikes from videos on his channel, where 1+1 media content is used, were removed by the right holder, i.e. 1+1 media.

We inform you that the position of 1+1 media is unchanged: the group still has questions for the Geek Journal channel regarding the grounds for using 1+1 media content without the consent of the rights holders. Therefore, the media group did not withdraw any claims regarding the videos that were published on the aforementioned YouTube channel.

Currently, 1+1 media has sent an official request to the Google representative office in Ukraine and the Google office in the USA with a request to explain - on whose initiative and on what grounds were the claims of 1+1 media regarding copyright infringement of the company, etc. removed/cancelled. Mediaholding expects a quick response and hopes that the final clarification from the representatives of the video hosting will finally put all the dots over the "i" in this story and will further promote clear and transparent interaction between rights holders and creators on the YouTube video sharing platform.
