1+1 Media Is Proud to Introduce the World's First Ukrainian App Featuring FAST Channels, Designed Specifically for an International Audience

As a multimedia company, 1+1 Media continues to go beyond classic television, try new things, and look for new methods and platforms for interaction with the audience — both in Ukraine and abroad. Thus, 1+1 Worldwide, an app that will provide free round-the-clock access to the thematic FAST channels 1+1 News and 1+1 Travel in English and Spanish, has been launched worldwide.

1+1 News is a TV channel that will feature documentary projects about Ukraine, episodes that debunk historical myths about Ukraine and the rest of the world, reports from military officers about current events from the front line, interviews with influential people and politicians, etc. The channel's content is partially dubbed or produced in English, while the rest will be broadcast with English subtitles. In addition, the channel will air topical news of the day every two hours, as well as evening news summaries and a weekly newscast on Mondays, providing an up-to-date selection of news from Ukraine and the world.

1+1 Travel is a TV channel that will allow viewers to travel to the most remote parts of the world, get acquainted with unknown, sometimes fantastic traditions and rituals, and live incredible adventures through the screen of their gadgets. Foreign viewers will see the world from a different perspective thanks to a true star of Ukrainian television — the prime show with almost 15 years of history, «The World Inside Out», whose permanent host and author is Dmytro Komarov. The channel will broadcast in Spanish with an option to turn on English subtitles.

Having a large amount of unique, high-quality content that is important for the world in the context of a full-scale invasion, we were looking for ways to distribute it to benefit both the company and the country. Therefore, 1+1 Worldwide is an ambitious project with a powerful goal — introducing Ukrainian culture, identity, and views to the English- and Spanish-speaking worlds through content. You can watch 1+1 Worldwide content for free on any gadget with Internet access by downloading an application to a portable device or SMART TV and logging in at will. In addition to the two FAST channels, 1+1 News and 1+1 Travel, users can access a VOD library of diverse genre content.

1+1 Media will provide an exceptional viewing experience in partnership with OTTera, a trusted US service provider specializing in developing OTT apps and FAST channels. OTTera is known for its expertise in global content distribution and monetization and has become 1+1 Media's leading technical partner in this project.

The first distributor of channels from the 1+1 Worldwide network is ROKU, the largest provider of TV technologies in the Americas, through which foreign viewers can access the app. In addition, the FAST platform ROKU Channel will soon also offer 1+1 News and 1+1 Travel channels, among others. The application will be available only within the ROKU distribution area, but the web version of the service is already available at this link without any territory restrictions.

1+1 Media's international distribution team and OTTera have started actively distributing the channels and the app globally.

1+1 Media notes that it will monitor audience preferences and responses to certain content to maintain interest and offer a personalized viewing experience.
