"1+1. 25 years": especially for the anniversary, the channel is working on the creation of a documentary film

This year, the TV channel "1+1" is celebrating its 25th anniversary. That's how much time "1+1" promptly informs viewers about important events and shares iconic moments with them. Especially for the anniversary, "1+1 Production" is working on the film "1+1. 25 years old", in which   viewers will be shown how the country and the "1+1" TV channel have changed over a quarter of a century, and they will also be reminded of their favorite TV projects on "Plus", which started modern Ukrainian television. Stars and politicians, opinion leaders and producers will share their views on the importance of the "1+1" TV channel for Ukrainians, its role in key social events, as well as recall their first acquaintance with the channel and reveal exclusive behind-the-scenes details.

"In 1995, the channel "1+1" was founded, which set the trends for all Ukrainian television and has maintained its leading position until today. Our task is not only to inform and entertain, but also to be relevant and modern, to stay on the same page with the viewer and always be one step ahead of others. This is possible thanks to a team of brave and selfless specialists. We thank the audience of the channel for their trust, and in a tape specially created for the anniversary, for the first time we will reveal to the audience the behind-the-scenes details of popular projects, show candid interviews with journalists and together remember the key events in the life of independent Ukraine," says the general producer of "1+1". Director of television business Maksym Kryvytskyi.

The documentary will show archival footage and reveal the secrets of the channel's most popular projects today, including the first season of "Dancing with the Stars" and the first issues of TSN and "Breakfast with 1+1." And the stars of the channel will remember where they were and what they dreamed about in September 1995, and will frankly talk about the dramas, victories and downfalls that took place behind the scenes of the legendary shows.

In particular, with his memories of working at "1+1" in the tape "1+1. 25 years old" will be shared by popular Ukrainian actress, Honored Artist of Ukraine Olga Sumska . The work of the star actress on the TV channel began in the first years of its existence - in 1997, she became the host of the "Movie Empire" program and hosted it for almost 11 years.

"It was an incredible atmosphere! A really real, cool, author's channel was born, and to become a member of this team, to become the face of "1+1" — it was perfect, says Olga Sumska. — "Plyusy" differed from other channels in its style, sophistication and the Ukrainian language itself, which dominated. That is, the positioning of the Ukrainian language and author's projects was a priority, and the audience appreciated it. "Plus" dictated the style in the Ukrainian television space.  

The authors of the film will also recall other "cult" projects on Plus, which at one time were the talk of the whole country - this is the first Ukrainian TV series "The Birthday of the Bourgeois", which was filmed in Kyiv, and the legendary "SV-Show" - the first and incredibly rated late night show of Ukraine. "SV-Show" with host Andrii Danylko appeared on the screens in 2007 and became one of the most popular television products in the country. In addition, viewers will learn how, for the first time, they worked on the Ukrainian dubbing of the legendary American series "Dynasty" and "Beverly Hills" for domestic television.
