1+1 media has started shooting a documentary about Andre Tan

Production company 1+1 Digital Studios, which is part of 1+1 media, has started work on a documentary film about the famous Ukrainian fashion designer Andre Tan. The film will introduce viewers to the story of international success and demonstrate how the strong dream of a boy from the Ukrainian hinterland led him to his own fashion company. The premiere of the film is currently scheduled for March 8, 2020.

Together with the story of the main character of the film, viewers will learn about the birth and development of the fashion industry in Ukraine. The creators of the film are convinced that obstacles on the way to the goal are worth our efforts, because they can become the basis of future success.

"I agreed to star in a documentary because I want to show what a person is capable of who has a big dream and a desire to do his life's work no matter what. I also want to show the audience the true world of fashion as it really is," Andre Tan comments.

The project involves a film format atypical for television, which is why the work on the picture is led by the production company 1+1 Digital Studios, which is part of the 1+1 Digital team.

"While the Ukrainian film industry is at the stage of filming the historical process and restoring the historical truth of the nation, there are many cool stories that are left behind . I am convinced that we now really need local success stories that will inspire and motivate the new generation. The documentary about Andre Tan will not only tell the story of a fashion designer who became successful in a country where the fashion industry did not exist, but will also tell viewers for the first time about fashion in Ukraine: what, when and how Ukrainian women wore from the late 80s to our of time," notes creative producer 1+1 Digital Studios Iryna Nikonchuk.
