1+1 media launched rebroadcasting of 4 TV channels on the VOD platform 1+1 video

The group of companies "1+1 media" has launched online retransmission of live broadcasts of the popular Ukrainian TV channels "Hromadske TV", ZIK, "Kanal 8" and "Kanal 24". Online broadcasting will take place on the 1+1 video platform through the media holding's own video player.

The specified TV channels did not become the first broadcasters whose broadcasts 1+1 media shows on the network. Earlier, the media group launched a rebroadcast of the "UA: First" TV channel. The experiment turned out to be successful and received positive feedback from viewers of 1+1 media projects on the Internet. Now the media holding intends to expand the offer of Ukrainian Live content on the network.

"We see a demand for linear broadcasting on the Internet, so we are open to cooperation with Ukrainian TV channels that produce a quality product. Our goal is to create additional value of the 1+1 video service as a convenient resource for viewing professional television content on the Internet," says Anna Tkachenko, digital director of 1+1 media.

For now, the ability to watch online broadcasts will be time-limited. By the end of 2018, the media group plans to introduce a paid subscription and expand access to the content of TV channels on the Internet in a 24/7 format.

Today, the video library of the 1+1 video platform includes more than 17,000 hours of content. In addition, the VOD service of the media group broadcasts the broadcasts of 7 own TV channels: 1+1 International, "1+1", "2+2", "TET", "PLYUSPLUS", "Bigudi", "UNIAN TV", as well as 5 broadcasting partners, in particular: ZIK, "UA: First", "Hromadske TV", "Channel 24" and "Channel 8".
