"1+1" is concerned about the spread of unverified rumors about the channel's journalists
"1+1" TV channel is surprised by the interest of People's Deputy from the BPP Andrii Antonishchak in the origin of funds of Oleksandr Dubinskyi, the host of the "Money" program on "1+1" channel. Previously, he received obscene remarks and threats against Yevhen Plinskyi, the host of the "Secret Materials" program on "1+1" - on social networks, the people's deputy promised the journalist "to deal with him."
It is interesting that Andriy Antonishchak is the main lobbyist for the repeal of the anti-smuggling laws, which limited the norm of duty-free import of goods "for yourself", which was used by smugglers to illegally import goods into Ukraine. In February 2018, journalists of "Secret Materials" on "1+1" recorded how Antonishchak organized artificial rallies at the border of smugglers, demanding under the guise of ordinary people to support his bill on the return of the "jacket" smuggling scheme at the border.
In addition, recently, in a number of dubious media, there have been more frequent cases of commissioned articles directed against the host of the "Money" program Oleksandr Dubinsky and the host of "Secret Materials" Yevgeny Plinsky. "1+1" is outraged by the publication of unverified rumors that damage the reputation of the channel's employees. In particular, it is about the fact that Oleksandr Dubinskyi and Yevhen Plinskyi are allegedly building a cottage town near Kyiv, and Yevheni Plinskyi is accused of extorting money for stories and a lawsuit from a Ukrainian online store. "1+1" TV channel declares that this information is not true. We consider its distribution to be part of a custom PR campaign and an attempt to put pressure on the journalists of "1+1" in response to their investigation of officials. In our opinion, in this way the customers decided to divert the attention of the public from their own problems by discrediting journalists. "Money" and "Secret Materials" will continue to expose corruption schemes on their air.
We will remind, on October 5, 2018, the journalist of the TV channel "1+1" Ihor Koltunov registered a letter of appeal to the head of the BPP faction Artur Gerasimov in the parliamentary office regarding the shameful behavior of a member of the faction Oleg Barna. In the letter, the representatives of the media group demand from the pro-presidential faction a public condemnation and reprimand of People's Deputy Barney, and consider his exclusion from the ranks of the faction as a logical solution to this situation.
