1+1 media enters the pay TV market

1+1 Media has reached an agreement with MTG to purchase the DTH and Internet TV businesses of Viasat Ukraine. Viasat Ukraine is the leading license provider of paid satellite TV in Ukraine, which recently presented the platform of paid Internet TV. The strong market position of the DTH business, Viasat Ukraine, and the technological flexibility of pay TV became the main reasons for the interest of 1+1 media in the deal.
