On May 29, the second charity telethon Save Ukraine — #StopWar will be held from Berlin and Kyiv

"Save Ukraine — #StopWar is an important global event that seeks to consolidate people around the world and remind about the importance of helping Ukraine. It is also a large-scale television production, which last time brought together an audience of 80 million, which is a great achievement. We hope that the new page of this project will be no less bright, because our goal is to bring the victory of Ukraine closer in every possible way," comments Yaroslav Pakholchuk , general director of 1+1 media and co-owner of the Atlas festival.

"Ukrainian business in the conditions of war must support the state and society. Therefore, Kyivstar not only helps customers with free services, but also allocated over 30 million hryvnias of charitable aid for humanitarian needs. And to make our support even more extensive, we act as a co-organizer of charity concerts. I am glad that the new concert will be held on May 29. In peacetime, we would celebrate the day of my native Kyiv, but now this date and the new marathon will bring us together to show the unity of Ukrainians and the whole world in the fight against the aggressor. And we, together with our partners, will send the funds collected during the charity concert to support medical institutions that care for the wounded due to hostilities ," said Oleksandr Komarov , president of Kyivstar.

"In April-May 2022, we implemented the Match for peace #StopWarInUkraine project - a series of charity matches of Dynamo FC, which became a real football, artistic and anti-war spectacle, drawing the attention of the sports world and the international community to the dramatic events in Ukraine as a result of the Russian war . Within these matches, in April alone, we collected over UAH 22,000,000 to solve the most acute humanitarian problems of Ukrainians. Therefore, participation in the telethon is for us the next stage of charitable initiatives, and we hope that with joint efforts we will be able to gather a large number of caring people around the project!", commented Ihor Surkis , president of the Dynamo Kyiv football club.

As last time, the graphic symbol of the telethon, around which all visual communication is built, is a sunflower created by the Ukrainian artist Daniel Skrypnyk .

The Save Ukraine — #StopWar telethon seeks to further consolidate the international community in its opposition to Russian expansion. The Ukrainian people feel and deeply appreciate the support provided by our partners and ordinary citizens of foreign countries: from basic necessities to powerful military assistance. But the war must end as soon as possible, and for this we need even more support for Ukraine and total pressure on the aggressor.

We will remind you that on March 27, the first Save Ukraine — #StopWar telethon took place, during which more than 40 million hryvnias were collected by joint efforts to solve the most acute humanitarian problems caused by the Russian war in Ukraine. At the same time, more than 30 TV channels around the world broadcast the project synchronously, and the average rating of TV channels during the Telethon was higher than usual in this slot. In total, about 80 million people around the world watched the telethon live. We have united all continents. Residents of more than 50 cities and capitals took to the streets to support Ukraine and join the telethon, 30 world political leaders addressed Ukrainians and the international community. More than 17 million people were united by a communication campaign in the media and social networks.
