Analytics from Kyivstar TV: which channels became the leaders of TV viewing in July 2013
Traditionally, in the analytics from Kyivstar TV, we talk about the results of TV viewing in July, the leading channels and how Ukrainians consumed news content.
At the end of summer, many Ukrainian TV channels will start a new TV season, which means that a lot of premieres and satellite projects will soon return to the airwaves of leading TV channels.
As a reminder, while the Nielsen panel, which was engaged in TV measurement before the full-scale war, is still being updated, the market continues to rely on viewing data from OTT platforms. In addition, in June, the platform switched to analysing viewership based on paid subscriptions.
Top 10 TV channels in July 2023
The highest position in the TOP TV channels in July was taken by Novyy TV channel, with a share of 10.3% (down -0.3 percentage points compared to June 2023). STB remained in second place with a 7.8% share (-0.2ppt).
Having increased its best share since the beginning of 2023 - 7.1% (+0.5 percentage points) - 2+2 TV channel moved up to third place in the ranking.
TET moved up to the fourth position with 7.0% share in July, having increased +0.4 p.p. of its share compared to June. Next, on the fifth place, is ICTV2 with 6.6% share (+0.3 p.p.). The sixth place is occupied by 1+1 Marathon (-1 p.p.), which broadcasts "United News", with an average share of 6.1%.
The seventh place is held by 1+1 Ukraine with 5.7% share (-0.7 p.p.), and the eighth place with 5.1% share (-0.5 p.p.) is held by ICTV, which also broadcasts the national telethon.
KSTB Detectives is at the 9th position with a 2.0% share (+0.3 p.p.), and PLUSPLUS TV channel closes the top 10 with 1.9% share (-0.1 p.p.).
