Olympic bronze medalist Hanna Rizatdinova became the ambassador of the "Sports Front" project

The 1+1 media group, together with T ribuna.com , continues the implementation of a large-scale communication campaign "Sports Front", the purpose of which is to block Russian and Belarusian national teams and teams, boycott Russian and Belarusian athletes who spoke "for the war" or did not voice its position and comprehensive support of Ukrainian sports.

The ambassador of the initiative was the Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast, bronze medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games, multiple medalist of the world and European championships, Anna Rizatdinova .

In the thematic video, Hanna said that due to the war that Russia started with the support of Belarus, Ukrainian athletes had to leave their homes in order to save their lives. However, Katya Dyachenko, a talented gymnast from Mariupol, could not save herself . The girl died as a result of the collapse of the house after being hit by an enemy shell. In addition, the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games called on athletes not to be silent and to support the boycott of Russians and Belarusians, and on social media users to record videos with appropriate messages and distribute them on the Internet.

"Not a single coach or artistic gymnast from the Russian Federation and Belarus expressed words of sympathy and support after the start of the full-scale invasion. The death of Katya Dyachenko also did not affect the representatives of my sport from Russia and Belarus, " commented Hanna Rizatdinova .

The awarded rhythmic gymnast comes from Simferopol, Ukraine, which was annexed by Russia in 2014.

"Russian rhythmic gymnasts not only keep quiet about the war in Ukraine, but also support Russia's attack on peaceful Ukrainian lands. Kremlin propaganda "screams" that sport is outside of politics. However, how can sport remain out of politics, when the first figures of the Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team - the Averina sisters - joined the propaganda concert-meeting dedicated to the annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol?!", said Hanna .

The video clip is available for viewing and distribution on the social networks of the 1+1 media group and on the 1+1 and TSN YouTube channels. Also, the social campaign is broadcast as part of the telethon " Edyni Novyvi " .

Among the 1+1 media sites that are also involved in the project are TSN, "Breakfast with 1+1", "Profutbol Digital", FootballHub, "Pro sport", TSN.ua, UNIAN and many other resources. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, as well as the T ribuna.com publication .

The key hashtags of the initiative are #BoycottRussianSport, #TurnOffRussia, #StandWithUkraine, #StopWar, #russiaisateroriststate.

We will remind that in June, the 1+1 media group together with Andriy Shevchenko, the best football player in Europe in 2004, the head coach of the national team of Ukraine (2016-2021), a legendary athlete who is known all over the world and a hero of Ukraine, launched the project "Sports front". This is a large-scale communication campaign, as well as a series of initiatives, videos and actions designed to draw the attention of the international sports community to the war in Ukraine. Two videos are already available on the network, the heroes of which are Andrei Shevchenko himself , as well as the first world judo champion in the history of Ukraine , George Zantara .
