1+1 media group joined the VI international forum "Creative Ukraine"

In the period from December 7 to 8, the VI international forum "Creative Ukraine" took place, the founder and organizer of which is the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. For two days, Ukrainian and international politicians, experts in the field of economy, culture and creative industries discussed what the future of the cultural sphere will be and how it can speed up Ukraine's victory in the war with the Russian Federation.

Within the framework of module No. 5 "Voices of war: between art and creative industries" , which took place on December 8, the general director of 1+1 media, Yaroslav Pakholchuk , spoke. The speakers discussed the state of Ukrainian culture, television and media in the conditions of a full-scale war, adaptation to new challenges and adjustment of work, tools that accelerate our Victory on the cultural front and important measures and initiatives on the way to recovery.

"The rear must work and function fully, and we must act systematically. The worst thing will happen if we get used to war. We have unlimited resources and we must act proactively, so the role of the cultural front is extremely important. We must find non-standard forms of communication in order to draw attention to Ukraine and not let the world get tired of our problems. Until we win, until the destroyed objects are rebuilt, and millions of Ukrainians do not return home, inaction will be our biggest cultural crime," Yaroslav Pakholchuk , CEO of 1+1 media, emphasized during his speech.

This year's forum was held with the support of the British Council as part of the Great Britain/Ukraine Season of Culture, and more than 60 experts took part in the event. Among them are the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Maria Gabriel, the head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland Piotr Glynski, the Minister of Culture of the French Republic Rima Abdul- Malak, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania Simonas Kairis.
