The 1+1 media group informs about the transfer of the date of satellite signal encoding of TV channels 1+1, 2+2, TET, Bigudi, PLUS PLUS from January 20 to January 28, 2020 . This decision was made today, January 16, at the request of official satellite operators and based on the results of an analysis of the level of readiness of the population. According to their reports , there is currently a rapid increase in information requests from Ukrainians regarding coding, and the demand for connecting to services significantly exceeds the supply.

" Despite comprehensively informing satellite subscribers about changes in broadcasting, unfortunately, not everyone took care of purchasing tuners in advance , returning to this issue only now. Taking into account the rapid growth in the demand among subscribers for satellite receivers and queues for connecting subscribers to official satellite operators, the group is forced to postpone the encoding of the signal for the benefit of the population. This additional time will allow subscribers who postponed coding to the last day to have time to ensure the opportunity to watch their favorite TV channels via satellite after coding, and official satellite operators will be able to process all requests from citizens ," commented Yaroslav Pakholchuk, CEO of 1+1 media .

We remind you that the changes will only apply to subscribers of open satellite, and nothing will change for subscribers of paid satellite, digital terrestrial (T2), cable and Internet television. Only entertainment channels whose function is primarily to entertain the viewer are coded. Information channels remain publicly available on the satellite, including the international version of 1+1 International .
