"United News" raised more than 25 million for SICH drones and announces a new large-scale fundraiser
As part of the national telethon "United News", a major fundraiser for the units of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine for SICH drones has been successfully completed. Thanks to the support of the viewers, UAH 25,194,759 was raised.
This ambitious goal was made possible by the unity of the Ukrainian people around a common goal - strengthening the defence capability of our country. Sich drones are Ukrainian-made strike and reconnaissance drones designed for reusability. They have proven to be effective in destroying enemy manpower and armoured vehicles, even where artillery or FPV drones cannot reach.
Ukrainian Sichs have destroyed more than $100 million worth of Russian equipment. The most expensive targets of the DIU's strikes were the Podlyot radar ($17 million) and the Kasta radar ($12 million).
Thanks to the viewers of the round-the-clock information marathon "United News", new targets are being discovered for destruction.
Fundraising for Ukrainian-made strike birds was initiated on the air of the telethon participants: Starlight Media, 1+1 Media, Rada, We-Ukraine and Inter Media Group, as well as on the broadcasters' digital platforms.
The marathon participants are grateful to everyone who is part of the victory over Russia. Every hryvnia raised is a brick in the defence of Ukraine. The United News Marathon continues to work together and unite Ukrainian viewers for a common goal. Together we will win.
A new large-scale fundraiser will start very soon - on 6 June, Journalist's Day, the national telethon "United News" will raise funds for the country's Defence Forces.
The fundraising will take place on the air of the marathon participants: Starlight Media, 1+1 Media, Rada, We-Ukraine and Inter Media Group, as well as on the digital platforms of the broadcasters.
We invite other media outlets to join the collection as well, so that the journalistic community can work together to help our Defenders.

Since the beginning of the year, the United News marathon has raised over UAH 100 million for the needs of the country's Defence Forces. In the first four months of 2024, the national telethon "United News" organised and held more than 370 fundraisers for the needs of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
