Kyivstar TV released the data of an independent CATI study on the viewing preferences of Ukrainians

Thus, data from the CATI research and the Kyivstar TV platform differ from the indicators of the TV panel. The biggest difference is observed in the TV channel 1+1, whose share in alternative measurements exceeds the share of the channel in the TV panel by almost two times: 1+1 has a share of 13.2% according to CATI and 16.9% in Kyivstar TV against 7.2% in TV - panels. ICTV also has lower indicators in the TV panel and "Ukraine" TV channel. However, the share of Other TV in the TV panel significantly exceeds this indicator in other measurements. Yes, the share Other in the TV panel TV is 32.6%, according to CATI — 22.4%, according to Kyivstar TV — 27.5%

*The CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) survey was conducted among subscribers of mobile operators of Ukraine, the sample was formed randomly. In total, more than 24,500 interviews were conducted during the specified period - February 7-11, 2022 (approximately 1,650 interviews per hour). Respondents were asked whether they were watching TV at the time of the interview, and if so, what exactly they were watching. A concise questionnaire and a large volume of a random sample, which is evenly distributed over time, allow you to compare the results of the survey with the data of other measurements (TV panel and Kyivstar TV data) with a high degree of accuracy.

Since Kyivstar TV currently does not have the ability to accurately distinguish the demographic characteristics of the viewer, the general audience (4+, all of Ukraine ) was chosen for a correct comparison .

Details on the calculation of audience share:

For TV panels: the percentage of viewers who watched the channel, from the total number of them in a given time period ( Shr %). For the Ky Yivstar TV platform: the percentage of channel viewing from the total duration of viewing by viewers of the platform in a given period of time. For CATI : the percentage of respondents who watched a channel among those who watched TV in a given time period.
