Lyubchenko Lesya - Site editor (trainee) tsn.ua

When I got into the "1+1 media" internship program, I was able to realize my long-standing and cherished dream. Yes, you were right... I lost 5 kg! In two months and without straining. No, I was not tied to a chair and required to work without a lunch break (otherwise I would have dropped even more). It's just that the work of a site editor requires 100% concentration on what is happening around and full dedication to the process of filling the site with new content.

I can't even remember what prompted me to fill out the questionnaire. Of all the vacancies offered on the site, the position of site editor suited me the most. So, the decision was made, and I was ready to act. But the next day she came down with a temperature of 38.5°. The application deadline was coming to an end, and I decided: now or never. A faithful friend was called to be my cameraman, a good layer of tonal base neatly disguised the bags under the eyes, and the snow-white wall of the auditorium of one of the buildings of my alma mater was to be the location. I assume that the Latin teacher, who was conducting a seminar in the next room in parallel with our filming, remembered those two loud us for a long time in a quiet word ... What was worth only his look after we accidentally bumped into each other later in the corridor ... However, the work was done, the details remained .

The next day, on the last day of the request, I sent the questionnaire. There was no news for a whole month. I decided that it was probably "not meant to be", but at least I tried. And suddenly they call me. Very timely. I was just looking for a public transport stop on Glushkova Avenue (Kyani people know how intense car traffic is in those places). As soon as I heard the words on the phone, the very next day I received a task, which I undertook to fulfill without further ado...

And waiting again. In the end, after each stage of selection, I reassured myself: "Well, little one, don't scatter! You tried, and you are well done. Otherwise, I would still be waiting by the sea for the weather." Such an assurance provided peace that lasted until the next call and broke out of the usual rhythm of life. It was like this after completing a written task, and after a group game, and after an interview... I remember how, after a conversation with my future manager, I came home and out of stress poured half a kilogram of ice cream: it seemed to me that I had just defamed myself, especially considering my "rich" experience of communicating with potential employers. Do not dare to think so in any case!

My initiation to the "pluses" took place immediately after the interview, in the office elevator, when I got lost between floors and just went "up and down". Nervous, tired and so desperate, I decided to ask the workers there for help to get me out of there. The "victim" of my request was to be the first person who entered the cabin. And it was Alla Mazur. Absolutely calmly and confidently, she took me under her care and "threw me" to the first floor. Thus, she became the media godmother of a girl who, like a fool, traveled between floors and could not find a way out.

If I hadn't interned at "1+1 media", I would never have learned so many interesting and relevant things. In order not to spoil it, I will say that you will read something interesting in a special project prepared by our team of interns. It will be hot in October!

So, the editor of the news site:

- learns a lot about world geography;

- distinguishes by names and faces those who work in Ukrainian and other authorities;

- becomes psychologically more stable, even to sometimes bilious comments from readers;

- trains a sense of humor and wit;

- learns to write about everything: from science to politics, from glamor to economics (a personal feat: she understood the endless network of characters of "Game of Thrones", although she had not watched a single series before that);

- even the seemingly most banal thing is presented as interesting news;

- adheres to the commandment "Speed decides everything";

- develops an author's writing style;

- practices language literacy (here I want to express a huge thank you to our literary editor. Although he will still find several mistakes in this passage);

- does not bore the "people from the box" working on the same floor as him, because they also need a private space without selfies and autographs;

- I drink a lot of coffee (by the way, I couldn't stand it before).

My only regret is that I did not participate in the internship a year or two ago. After all, the main thing I received is confidence in my own abilities. I am not the last person. And I can. You just have to try and not be afraid. Under no circumstances. Pope Francis called: "Go without fear", but he is not the last spoke in the wheel to brazenly ignore his instructions.

I hope to lose even more weight in the coming months. But it is still worth saving your nerves.
