About travel and extreme holidays: 1+1 media launches new TV channel Svit+
1+1 media continues to develop the potential of niche TV channels and is launching a new linear informative travel channel Svit+, which will broadcast programmes about travel and extreme recreation, as well as reality shows and documentaries. The channel will start broadcasting on 1 November 2024 and will be available on T2, leading Ukrainian OTT platforms, cable networks and VIASAT DTH platform.
‘Svit+ is a TV channel that creates a space for emotional recharge. Our goal is to give our viewers the opportunity to escape from their routine and immerse themselves in a world dominated by the spirit of exploration, discovery and drive. This is especially important now, when every Ukrainian needs not only information support but also the opportunity to restore their inner resources,’ said Ivanna Naida, the channel's general producer.
The key target audience of Svit+ TV channel is women and men aged 18-34+. The channel's slogan is ‘Fill yourself with drive’, so that viewers can be charged with strong emotions through drive, energy, adrenaline and thirst for life.
Svit+ has prepared an interesting content line-up, which will partly consist of favourite and already legendary projects. In particular, the channel will broadcast all episodes of the travel show ‘The World Inside Out’, which will become one of its flagship programmes. In the future, Mir+ will be filled with documentaries and purchased travel products.
As a reminder, 1+1 media consists of own and partner TV channels, including: 1+1 Ukraine, 1+1 Marathon, 2+2, TET, PLUSPLUS, UNIAN, Bigudi, Comedy Central, KVARTAL TV, KVARTAL TV International, 1+1 International.
‘By the way, the niche channels PLUSPLUS and Bigudi are among the top 10 most popular channels in the country in terms of viewership. Accordingly, we aim to strengthen this area and create an even better offer for viewers,’ summed up Ivanna Naida.
