Tatyana Ryabchenko - Junior engineer (trainee)

The clock is ticking. Life is full of strength and energy. There is a real spring in the soul, which needs new accomplishments and achievements. This is what almost all students feel during this difficult and at the same time unforgettable period. It didn't escape me either. She hesitated for a long time, measured her strength, it was not without a hint of hesitation, but ambition prevailed. I sent everything necessary for the internship competition in 1+1 media. And here I am, writing this article in order to share an incredible impression and maybe even inspire someone.

The meeting was fun and soulful. It was immediately noticeable that the employees not only know the main principles at work, but are also guided by them when communicating. We were given a tour from which I was so delighted that I felt like a bird taking its first free flight. It is understandable, because not every day and not everyone can see the painstaking work behind the creation of "Breakfast" or "TSN". The only thing that distinguished and still distinguishes us, interns, from real specialists is a red ribbon with the inscription "Intern 1+1 media". We even joked that this was some kind of warning sign.

On the same day, we also met the head of the engineering department, where we had to overcome our first stage of internship. It is hard not to notice that people really love their work, treat it with respect, and most importantly, have a desire to share their experience with us. I remember how one of them spoke about his activities: "Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's sad." This was followed by clarification from me: "It's sad when there is work or not?". The answer was unequivocally pleasing: "Of course, when there is no!".

My dad once said: "Tetyanka, you and technology are incompatible!". On the very first day of the internship, the manager proved the opposite to me, because we ... assembled and disassembled the system unit. I really liked the fact that no one scolded us for making a mistake, and on the contrary, they gave us instructions to make more mistakes. After all, this is the only way to really learn and become a real professional. I put all my physical effort into the next task. It was necessary to crimp the network cable. My fellow interns, the guys, had to deal with this more than once, so they managed it much better than me. But it became a real test for me! This is really a piece of jewelry! Gradually, the tasks began to become more difficult and I gained more and more endurance and practice. So two months of the first stage passed.

Later, we were even allocated an office! For a whole month, we performed all possible tasks related to the live broadcast. We've got everything we need to make it happen: from the cable to the camera. We had to broadcast live TV broadcasts, where we, interns, were the main participants. Over time, there was an opportunity to prepare everything necessary for a real live broadcast. It was an interview with the Belarusian football coach Leonid Kuchuk on 2+2. They were glad that they made the connection quickly and efficiently. Then came the realization that all my attempts, even if not very successful, were not in vain.

I am currently in the second stage of my internship. I chose the direction "graphic design". There was no less emotion. I never stop being surprised and always discover something new. I can always ask for help and advice from specialists, and of course, there has never been a refusal. An open attitude cannot leave you indifferent. There is an understanding that a better team is not worth looking for. From this, my aspirations and efforts lead to the successful completion of all tasks, even those where it seems that it is impossible, and sometimes it is so.

And finally, I would like to say that the realization of dreams and great success begins with a small step. For example, go to the website and find out about an internship in one of the largest media holdings of Ukraine, 1+1 media.
