A Year of Partnerships, New Endeavors, and Achievements: 1+1 Media summary of the results of 2025
For 1+1 media, 2025 became a year of new beginnings — in business, partnerships, and work practices. A year that once again confirmed: behind every result, there are people; behind every project, there is trust; and behind every decision, there is responsibility. In a complex and ever-changing environment, the company continued to grow, scale, and seek new opportunities — together with its teams, partners, and audiences.
In this feature, 1+1 media sums up the outcomes of 2025 — a year of partnerships, exploration, and achievements that shaped a new foundation for the future.
The most important event for the 1+1 family — the return of Dmytro Khyliuk from Russian captivity
On August 24, 2025, after three years in Russian captivity, our colleague, UNIAN news agency correspondent Dmytro Khyliuk, returned home. Throughout this time, there had been almost no news about Dmytro.
At the same time, 1+1 Media employees did not stand aside. Every week, they gathered on the streets of the capital to remind the public about Dmytro and other civilians illegally detained by the aggressor state. The #FreeDmytroKhyliuk campaign gained international momentum, reminding the world of the crimes committed by Russia.
Social initiatives and projects that scale good deeds
In 2025, social responsibility for 1+1 Media remained not a separate direction, but an integral part of its corporate culture and business. This refers to systematic, long-term work that combines the resources of the media business, the power of brands, and team engagement to achieve real social impact.
«Make a Dream Come True.» Within the social project that fulfills the dreams of children who lost their parents in the war, more than 20 personal meetings were organized between young dreamers supported by the Children of Heroes Foundation and Ukrainian celebrities. These included heartfelt events that inspired and brought joy, featuring Artem Pivovarov, Mykhailo Kukuiuk, Yevhen Synelnykov, Oleksandr Rudynskyi, Daria Petrozhytska, the Dynamo Kyiv football team, and others. Ukrainians watched these touching moments on the program Closer to the Stars on the TET TV channel.
«Life After Scars.» The 1+1 Media social project, launched in 2024, expanded in scale. In the summer of 2025, the program of the same name premiered on the 1+1 Ukraine TV channel — a series of stories about veterans and their families returning to civilian life. The project received positive audience feedback, underscoring the media's role as a platform for critical social conversations. In addition, the initiative gained international recognition: the project was honored with prestigious European awards — the Excellence Awards and the SABRE Awards — and in November this year, the Effie Awards Ukraine were added to its list of accolades.
«Foodtruck — Food Without Borders.» At the beginning of 2025, 1+1 Media, together with partners, joined the creation of a large-scale humanitarian project, Foodtruck — Food Without Borders. The mobile kitchen operated in border and frontline regions, as well as in disaster-affected areas, providing hot meals to those affected by Russian aggression. In just one day, the Foodtruck can prepare more than 5,000 meals. Over the course of the year, the project team delivered hundreds of thousands of hot lunches to residents of the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
In partnership with Yakaboo, the social project «Library for Heroes» was implemented—an initiative that provides Ukrainian defenders undergoing treatment at Mechnikov Hospital with access to hundreds of print and electronic books. The project combined cultural support, rehabilitation, and a partnership-based business interaction model.
The company actively supported military personnel and employees serving in the Security and Defense Forces, joined advocacy campaigns for prisoners of war, and implemented humanitarian and volunteer initiatives for civilians, children, people with disabilities, and animals. The 1+1 community actively participated in charity runs, blood donation drives, internal fundraising events, and partner projects to support Ukraine’s Defense Forces and socially vulnerable groups, making charity an integral part of the corporate culture.
In 2025, more than 50 partnerships with social projects and initiatives were established across areas such as child support, military fundraising, veteran reintegration, culture, and education. Within the collaboration with the NGO Osvitoria, 1+1 Media continues to actively contribute to organizing the national Global Teacher Prize Ukraine, which honors the country’s best teachers. The prize curator is TSN anchor and interviewer Nataliia Moseichuk. As part of her nomination, «Choice of the Heart», Nataliia recognizes teachers with extraordinary stories. In 2025, the Choice of the Heart award went to Kharkiv teacher Maksym Romanov, who received UAH 100,000 to realize his educational dream.
