Online voting for the all-Ukrainian award for podcasters has started
MEGOGO media service has launched online voting as part of the professional audio award for podcasters Slushno by MEGOGO AUDIO.
This year, 1+1 media is a partner of the project.
The award annually celebrates the best achievements in the audio industry and unites the professional community, as well as stimulates the development of infrastructure, such as production and distribution.
This year's audio award includes seven nominations reflecting a wide range of topics and interests of the audience: the best business podcast, culture and art, history and society, science and technology, health and self-development, and the best entertainment and sports podcast. For the first time this year, a separate special award will be presented for Podcast in Time of War for the relevance and consistent quality of work with topics related to the war in Ukraine.
"In general, the mechanics of the Slushno award have not changed this year. The audience of listeners continues to be a driver for the development of Ukrainian content, and I like that this community is growing. Our goal is to continue to promote the audio format and monitor trends in the industry. The latter is particularly related to the change in the general nominations, as well as the emergence of a new special award. I hope that the active period of the Slushno award will be an occasion to talk about podcasts both from a professional point of view and from the point of view of listeners," adds Yulia Bilous, producer at MEGOGO AUDIO.
Online voting will run until 15 September inclusive. The winners in each category will be announced on 30 September, International Podcast Day.
