"The real superhero is you: Kyivstar TV and Blood Agents team up to promote blood donation
Kyivstar TV joins the initiative of the Blood Agents NGO to promote voluntary, free and regular blood donation. Throughout the year, all donors at the Blood Agents blood donation centres in six Ukrainian cities will receive gifts from the platform
Being a superhero sometimes means doing ordinary but very important things, such as becoming a donor and helping to save more than one life. To draw attention to blood donation in Ukraine, Kyivstar TV is launching a superhero initiative with the NGO Blood Agents.
Until the end of 2024, everyone who donates blood at the Blood Agents blood collection centres in six Ukrainian cities, namely Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kropyvnytskyi or Mykolaiv, will receive a guaranteed promotional code from Kyivstar TV to use the platform with the Premium HD package for 30 days, and each donor can also choose a special donor pin "A real superhero is you". These superhero-themed foams feature familiar characters from various blockbusters who have saved the world more than once.
"To create a culture of regular donation, it is very important to involve big business. It is campaigns like this that allow us to speak more loudly about blood donation, especially in those regions where the need for blood is extremely high. Thank you for your concern, because only together we can do more (and louder)!" said Olena Balbek, founder of the NGO Blood Agents and blood donation ambassador.
In her turn, Kyivstar TV Marketing Director Victoria Maksymchuk noted that it is important for Kyivstar TV to support such socially important initiatives. That is why the next collaboration between the film and television platform is primarily about an important cause, and only then about the entertainment component.
"Superhero films have always been and remain extremely popular. That's because people like characters with superpowers who can do something extraordinary and save the world. So with this collaboration, we want to emphasise that being a donor is already extraordinary, and what could be a cooler superpower than the ability to save someone's life? And the promotional code and pin are a small encouragement from us and an opportunity to show that each of us is no worse a superhero than the characters from the films," commented Victoria Maksymchuk.

You can make an appointment to donate blood in a convenient format via the Telegram chatbot.
After the donation is made, a promotional code for Kyivstar TV will be provided at the blood centre, and subscribers of all mobile operators and Internet providers can use it, as the platform is available to everyone. To activate it, you need to log in to the Kyivstar TV platform using your phone number.

Kyivstar TV is not the first to join charity initiatives. In particular, the film and television platform has a permanent Charity package, 40% of which is donated to help children with burns as part of the Children's Hope project. In 2023, Kyivstar TV donated over UAH 400,000 to this initiative.
