TV channels TET and 2+2 of the 1+1 media group started broadcasting in HD quality
In continuation of the strategy of 1+1 media to expand the portfolio of TV channels and improve the content of its own production, today, March 3, 2020, the group launched the HD versions of TV channels 2+2 and TET. They are already available for viewing on the 1+1 video VOD platform and on the Kyivstar TV pay-TV platform.
Such actions by the group are aimed at providing viewers with access to watching their favorite television products in HD quality. It should also become an additional incentive for the contribution of domestic broadcasters and providers to the development of the pay TV market and maximum satisfaction of subscribers' needs for quality content. Currently, for partners of 1+1 media who adhere to the principles of conducting honest business and timely fulfill agreements, the group offers the opportunity to broadcast these channels in their networks without paying additional royalties.
"The transition to HD is a logical step in bringing Ukrainian television to a higher level, and therefore we continue to gradually transfer the group's channels to Full HD. Next in line is the PLYUPLUS children's channel, the launch of the HD version of which is planned for the second half of the year. I am sure that the audience will properly appreciate the new, higher-quality picture," commented the general director of 1+1 media, Yaroslav Pakholchuk.
2+2 is a national information and entertainment TV channel that has been on the air since 2010. During its existence, the TV channel won the favor of a large number of viewers thanks to a high-quality selection of feature films, series of foreign and domestic production, news, thematic informational programs, entertainment and educational projects and broadcasts of football matches. TV channel 2+2 is constantly increasing the volumes of its own production. Over the past few years, more than 15 action-packed detective series have been filmed. The premieres of the TV series "Odynak" and "Cop Wars" have already been successfully held. Odesa", "Cent Wars. Kyiv", "Dentist", four seasons of the TV series "Opera z zvozhorom", "The Ringer", as well as the continuation of the cult saga "Cop Wars. Kharkiv-2", the TV series "Brothers by Blood", "Retribution" and "Carpathian Ranger".
TET is the main entertainment TV channel of Ukraine, which creates its own projects and delights viewers since 1992, and since 2009 - as part of the 1+1 media group. According to the results of annual measurements, the channel is consistently among the TOP-10 most rated Ukrainian channels and channels with the largest daily share.
