TSN started a special project "Quarantine" about how Ukrainians adapt to the new reality

On March 24, at 7:30 p.m., the premiere of the special project "Quarantine" about how Ukrainians can adapt to the new reality in the fight against the coronavirus epidemic took place on the air of TSN on the "1+1" channel. In the 5-episode series of stories, the TSN team will tell Ukrainians what the "panic virus" is, how to prepare for life in self-isolation, and what to do when there is a lot of time in a closed space.

The stories were written by 5 TSN special correspondents: Myroslav Hanushchak, Tetiana Shtan, Maryna Makushchenko, Lyudmila Badalyan and Maria Shevchenko. The journalists resorted to unusual social experiments and during the week will share their results every day in the evening issue of TSN.

"We realized that the world has already changed today due to the coronavirus pandemic. And people need to get used to not just living in self-isolation in quarantine, but also to adapt to new realities with the least physical and psychological losses. In the "Quarantine" special project, we decided to conduct a series of social experiments and to tell Ukrainians how to live in quarantine in an easily accessible form. How not to fall into depression and why it is important to rewire your brain and live on. Each of our 5 journalists chose a topic that is in the area of their professional interests and expertise. Thus, the special project covered all the most important aspects of human life: economy, psychology, health and even everyday life. We hope that our stories will help viewers look at life more optimistically, even in the current quarantine conditions," says Olga Kashpor, deputy director of the department for new formats.

During the filming of the special project, the TSN team conducted social experiments on the streets of the capital, visited a small village, watched how Ukrainian families are tested by quarantine and collected a bunch of useful life hacks and effective advice from psychologists.

Already in the first story, TSN found out whether it is realistic to live a day at a meter distance from people, as recommended by doctors in the fight against the virus. The story was authored by TSN correspondent Yaroslav Hanushchak, who specializes in journalistic experiments.

In addition, TSN will talk about the psychological features and contagiousness of panic, calculate how much quarantine costs, advise how to live in self-isolation with your own family and not spoil family relationships. He will also conduct a social experiment together with the famous Ukrainian actor Volodymyr Horyanskyi.
