UNIAN updated the site and became even more accessible for mobile users

According to General Director Artem Kovalev, since the relaunch of the project in 2016, the editors and the 1+1 Digital team have been carefully monitoring the behavior of readers on the pages of unian.ua and analyzing user feedback about the experience of interacting with the site.

"As a result, to begin with, we refined the design: removed elements that were not in demand and added new blocks with new interesting content. Partially changed the structure of the site, presentation and appearance of the information blocks on the start page; they picked up new convenient fonts, put more emphasis than before on photo and video materials," says Kovalev.

Taking into account the dynamic growth of the mobile audience of media sites, UNIAN took the initiative to create a mobile version: now the pages weigh less, so users can read fresh news, analytical articles and author's opinions on UNIAN without worrying about the amount of traffic used. "In addition, now on mobile devices the content of the site is loaded about four times faster," Kovalev noted.

According to the editor-in-chief of UNIAN Mykhailo Hannytskyi, the updated website of the agency will please visitors with an improved search for news, which has accumulated several millions over the years of operation. "We also hope that our readers will appreciate the new submission of news, interviews, opinions and analytical publications on the site, while working on the concept of their appearance, we tried to go beyond the usual templates for Uanet," says Mykhailo.

In addition to the new appearance of the site, the developers made it convenient for tablet users - by providing an adaptive design of UNIAN for the most popular tablet PC screen formats.
