The Higher School of Media & Production 1+1 media presented plans for 2019

The Higher School of Media & Production at 1+1 media presented its work plan for 2019. This year, the school plans to hold more than 15 training courses and 20 master classes that will meet the needs of the media industry. Among the highlights of the Higher School for 2019 are the development of the B2B direction, support for ensuring access to media education and the drawing of educational grants, continuing the development of the Children's Media School, launching an online platform for teaching individual courses and entering the international educational market.

Taking into account the requirements of the labor market and analyzing the need for the development of personnel in certain specialties of the media industry, in addition to the already successfully launched programs earlier, in 2019 the Higher School will start an acting course, a screenwriting course, as well as a course on TV to Digital transformation.

In order to provide access to knowledge to all who wish, regardless of their place of residence, in 2019, studies at the Higher School will be transformed into an online format. Among the directions that will become available online are such courses as: music producer, television producer, mastery of practical editing, celebrity management, basics of journalism, screenwriting course, TV to Digital transformation and reality show editor.

In addition, the Higher School of Media & Production will continue to actively develop the Children's Media School. The experience of previous years makes it possible to ascertain the growing demand for the development of communication skills in children from an early age, so the opportunity to try themselves in various media professions will give children an understanding of the specifics of each, in order to make the right professional choice in the future.

Also this year, the Higher School will continue to scale the B2B service for external businesses, working with the specific needs of companies, including building successful communication with the mass media, the importance of messages, PR and awareness of reputational risks.

"At the Higher School of Media & Production, our team quickly responds to requests from employers in the media industry. Conducting in-depth monitoring of the field of communications, digital, journalism and television production, we analyze market needs and launch new training courses. At the same time, understanding the lack of highly qualified specialists, we prepare graduates not only with a theoretical, but also with a practical background. And in 2019, we will focus even more on the direction of providing educational services for business, because today every company is already media for its target audience," comments Yuriy Bilokur, head of the Higher School of Media & Production .

We will remind you that the Higher School of Media & Production is an educational project of the "1+1 media" group, the main goal of which is to provide quality world-class media education in Ukraine. The priority in the educational program is to provide students with practical experience at the company's own production facilities. Over five years of operation, the Higher School has graduated more than 1,040 students, among whom more than 400 specialists have joined the 1+1 media team or work in other media companies.
